Planned obsolescence built into the chipset. Okay - I have Firmware Version HPG 2.00B01 - Available from the Web pages of U-Blox is HPG 2.00. Downloaded - U-Center 2. No luck.

Different tips on how to circumvent the errors all dont work. Going back to ROM Boot for the Chipset to then flash again is not documented anywhere. Safeboot does not work as the M.2 based Card disconnects from USB in safe-boot. Erasing only flash (Which would force a boot to ROM only works in safeboot - which disconnects the card until power-cycle)

Support request to Ardusimple and in the U-Blox support forum are open. Until a solution thats a nice little paperweight you have there.
